Work Scope
Columbia Gas of Virginia contracted with SEC for 16,000 LF of 12” X-52 steel replacement and abandon an existing 8” steel gas line in place, as well as 1,350 LF HDD under the Pedlar River. Additionally, SEC crossed four perennial streams along the project. This project is being constructed in an existing ROW that was previously built in the 1950s. The existing line is 8” bare steel with active leaks. Project was completed September 2020.
