Work Scope

This project consists of 19,500 LF of 12” steel pipe installed in the street and road shoulder. There are three horizontal directional drills and one conventional jack and bore. SEC’s project execution plan called for the entire length of the trench to be hydro excavated the depth of 8 ft. This method of pre–excavating ahead of the installation crews, allows for easy identification of marked and unmarked underground utilities. This project has required an extensive traffic control plan and coordination with the City of Kennesaw, Georgia. The project is slated for completion by the end of 2020.
